This was our hobbit house all covered in snow.
With such a vast ski area, a fraction of the resort had been groomed and the rest was powder snow. And because it wasn’t Swiss school holidays yet, it was like we had the whole resort to ourselves. Yay!

What the photos don’t really do justice is with such low temperatures, the snow is really dry and it actually sparkles like there’s glitter floating in the air and sprinkled on the ground.

Overall, we settled into a routine. Fully cooked hearty breakfast, followed by all day skiing, some drinking at the bars (some inside, some outside), down to the village for thermal baths, finished off with dinner. Some Amarone, some fondue, grappa, pizza, stengli. It was hard, but someone had to do it.
Here was another warm and sunny day drinking in the bar on the slopes.
