Life at Villa Vals was a blast. Here are some outtakes. Firstly, a quick tour of our villa on a lovely sunny day.
On the BBC hobbit house video they mentioned that the water coming from the well was perfect for drinking, 10 degrees summer and winter. The host said – and I quote - “oh god it’s beautiful water”. We hadn’t actually gone out into our backyard given that it was a metre deep in snow, but Shaun could not resist the lure of the perfect water and simply had to check it out. So, why not do it in bare feet, shorts and a T-shirt? Here is Shaun getting water.
His verdict? “Tastes like water.”
Another little animal had the same idea, but came in from a different direction, leaving his footprints in the snow.
We did a jigsaw puzzle. Mostly Trevor and Sue.
