Morocco Day 4 : Lost with an Atlas

Thursday 10 January 2019

Our final day in Morocco we left Aït Benhaddou early in the morning to go across the Atlas Mountains.

We weren’t lost actually because we had good ol’ google.  But you can see here the mountain pass was pretty mental.  One of the most dangerous roads we've ever driven on; 40km/h was as fast as we could go - the road was broken up and no guard rails.  Most of the other drivers we saw were very sensible and careful but some were maniacs.  We also saw some people driving motor homes on these roads - that was pretty mental.

And we actually saw goats in trees!
So much of it seemed to still be the traditional lifestyle that's been going on for centuries possibly millennia.
