The whole holiday crew had major withdrawals once we returned to Australia. The Murrells had bought some fondue back from Switzerland but didn’t yet have a fondue pot so Keedah suggested eating it standing around the stove! It wasn’t long before a fondue pot was in fact bought making Perth the new home for Swiss fondue – that fact that it was in the middle of a sweltering Perth summer didn't matter.
For Trevor’s birthday, the Murrells sent him a jigsaw puzzle collage of our holiday. Sue had the idea while we were in Vals and she worked on the puzzle with Trevor. What a fantastic surprise and the perfect gift.
We loved putting it together, so many wonderful memories.
